Floral Finery design studio and event planning

Part of supporting our community is staying home as much as we can. This means we are not traveling to Boston for fresh blooms during the month of May. We are still taking inquiries for weddings. We're making plans for accommodate special events like small weddings or milestones this summer when groups of 50 people can gather, and of course planning for 2021 when we hope the events will return to normal.

Where did we begin?

​

Floral Finery bloomed beginning in 2006. It's hard to believe we're celebrating the new year, 2020!

​

My first baby was this business, and now that I have my second baby (a precocious 7-year-old, my best slice of Maine), running a small business allows me to be a professional and a mom (and occasionally go on a date with my husband).

​

The very first clients were family and friends. Now we've had brides on a boat (that's me carting flowers on the eve of the first snow storm in 2010 to an island wedding), brides out on a (dock) float (check the total weight of the wedding party first), and even a bride take to a float plane to get the perfect wedding photos. We also help our clients with vow renewal, anniversary dinners, and other events that have been a delight to coordinate.
